Asparagus was on sale at the grocery store and I just couldn’t help myself. I love asparagus.
And then bacon was on sale and I really couldn’t help myself. Bacon and asparagus go so well together.
And thus, the alfredo dish was born.
And it was SO good.
You will need:
- Third a pound of asparagus
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1/2 onion
- 2 servings noodles (I used linguini)
- Alfredo sauce (enough to coat – about 1 cup or so. Adjust to preference)
Boil noodles according to directions. Set aside in medium mixing bowl.
Fry bacon, onion, and asparagus together until veggies are soft and bacon is crispy. Add to noodles.
Warm alfredo sauce. Pour over noodle mix. Stir until coated thoroughly.
